Seo Young Kim Head Chair
My name is Seo Young Kim, a sophomore at ISPP. It’s an absolute pleasure to be serving as the head chair of ECOSOC! Having participated in MUNs since G6, this is my 6th conference. I definitely know the horror of debating, but please don’t worry, do what you can do, and try your best. Active participation is always helpful. We have three very interesting topics to debate on this year; I’m really looking forward to the debates and fun we'll have! Besides having breakdowns from school, I enjoy basketball, volleyball, watching netflix and finding good food and snacks. I'm looking forward to collaborating with you all, please do not hesitate to reach out and talk about anything, even things irrelevant to MUN. See you soon! Best Regards, Seo Young |
Lisa Tauch Deputy Chair 1
Greetings Delegates, My name is Lisa Tauch, I’m from CIA First International School, and I’m currently in my 11th grade this year. This is my fifth conference, and second time chairing the ECOSOC committee. I’m really excited and looking forward to this conference as I have always put my passion into international relations. I do empathize really well with the nervousness and excitement that delegates feel during both the preparation and the conference itself. So, please feel free to email me ([email protected]) if you have any questions, concerns or if you think I could assist you in any form for adjusting to the upcoming LFRD conference. I’m really honored to be your chair and looking forward to welcoming all of you to the upcoming LFRDMUN. |
Mariya Phan Deputy Chair 2
Greetings Delegates! I’m Mariya, a junior at the Liger Leadership Academy. This is my first time chairing and I’m honored to be able to serve you as a deputy chair in the Economic and Social Committee. I’ve always enjoyed discussing different social issues that the world is experiencing and MUN is the best opportunity for me to do that. Aside from MUN, I also do a lot of different things, such as SCUBA diving, writing, acting, and singing. I like to call myself an experiencer because I do a little bit of everything. This is just one fun fact about myself: I used to memorize 100+ digits of pi (I can’t even remember 20 right now though). Additional note, if this is your first time as a delegate and you are feeling nervous, don’t worry, we all feel nervous doing something for the first time. Just try your best! Looking forward to meeting you, Mariya. |
